about

The Cologne-based bassist premieres his first album "Almost Natural" as a bandleader on Tangible Music!

For this he has invited longtime companions Sebastian Gille, Elias Stemesder and Leif Berger.

About the album: A maze is a place where you get lost, a labyrinth on the other hand is a place where you find yourself. On his album "Almost Natural" Florian Herzog breaks through the narrow dividing wall between labyrinth and maze. He creates a refuge where not only he and his fellow musicians, but also the listeners of the record can find and lose themselves at the same time. The dramaturgy of "Almost Natural" is best described by the song title "Misleading Energy”: It's like an active volcano whose chimneys erupt here and there and spew boiling lava into the surrounding area, but on whose fertile slopes it greens and blooms regardlessly. Reliable unpredictability - that's what distinguishes this album above all others.
